Overview

Conceived, curated, and directed by Patricio Sarmiento, in collaboration with the Taiwan Ministry of Culture and supported by public and private partners.

This manifestation was developed as part of D’Days Paris 2016, and positioned Taiwan as Country of Honor through a multi-format cultural program unfolding across several institutions throughout the city of Paris.

The program brought together exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and a publication, creating a platform for exchange between designers, artisans, institutions, and audiences. It explored key themes such as material innovation, sustainability, and the transmission of savoir-faire within a global context.

Through this curatorial framework, Taiwan was presented not only as a source of traditional craft knowledge but also as an active contributor to contemporary creative practices.
