Overview

Appointed as Interim Director in September 2023, I took leadership of Paris American Academy following a major explosion that resulted in the complete loss of the school’s building, equipment, and operational infrastructure.

Operating under urgent conditions, I led the full reconstruction of the institution. Within four months, this included securing a new site, rebuilding classrooms and specialized ateliers, restructuring administrative and financial systems, and re-establishing operational continuity.

I supervised the reorganization of academic programs across Fine Arts, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, and Interior Design, ensuring alignment with international academic partners. I also led recruitment of faculty and administrative staff, and acted as the institution’s legal representative in negotiations with insurance companies and public authorities.

In parallel, I reactivated institutional and industry partnerships, securing external support including a €85,000 donation from Kering Group (Saint Laurent and Dior) to rebuild a fully equipped fashion atelier.

Classes resumed in January 2024, ensuring continuity for an international student body of approximately 60 students, despite the complete disruption of the institution.
