Hand in Hand is a long-term initiative developed in partnership with the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (NTCRI), with the support of the Taiwan Ministry of Culture and the Institut Français.
Conceived as a platform for exchange between designers and master artisans, it brings together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design through residencies, workshops, exhibitions, and public programs.
The project operates through a defined methodology — from selection and convergence to development and international visibility — enabling the creation of innovative objects while supporting the transmission of savoir-faire.
Presented in major cultural contexts — including D’Days, Paris Design Week, and Révélations — at venues such as the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Grand Palais, as well as international museum exhibitions, Hand in Hand contributes to positioning craft as a field of innovation, dialogue, and sustainable development.
Since 2011, it has brought together over 20 designers and 30 artisans, generating internationally exhibited work and establishing a lasting framework for cross-cultural collaboration.
